Yesterday Miguel Gutierrez Garitano visited us, a great explorer who has traveled through jungles, deserts and polar regions. He explained to us how to be an explorer. thank you for coming so far to spark an interest in science and exploration in our little explorers.
The little explorer project celebrates the day against gender violence, claiming that we are all equal.
They have explained to us how to conserve our seas and oceans. We have known the work of diving archaeologists.
The activity for November is making a PowerPoint presentation or a video about well-known explorer. One of my student has just made a presentation about one of Polish explorers.
In Poland we do not celebrate Halloween, but All Saints’ Day on the 1 st of November and All Souls’ Day on 2nd of November. These are days when almost everyone visits graves of their family members or relatives. The gravestones are decorated with colourful chrysanthemums in full bloom and millions of grave candels, which symbololize the presence of God and reminds of the prayer that has been said in a moment of reflexion for those who passed before us. This Christian celebration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day roots in a belief that there is a powerful spiritual bond between those in heaven and the living.
